After the tragic drowning incident that took her son's life, Nicole Hughes has dedicated her life to drowning prevention through activism. Along with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, she seeks to change the way water safety and floatation devices are marketed and advertised in order to bring increased awareness to the threat of drowning and the importance of water safety.
